Volunteers are needed as Courtroom Monitors for the 14th Annual San Diego County High School Mock Trial Competition! 

The San Diego County High School Mock Trial Committee invites you to participate in the 2020 San Diego County High School Mock Trial Competition as a Courtroom Monitor. The competition is scheduled for February 5, 11, 19, 2020 beginning at 4:30 p.m. and February 22, 2020 beginning at 8:00 a.m. and will take place at the San Diego Superior Court’s Central Courthouse in downtown San Diego.

This year’s competition will be the largest to date, 33 high schools from throughout San Diego County will compete and more than 100 volunteers are needed to assist with the mock trials. The time commitment is approximately three hours per trial and you may volunteer for as many trials as you like. 

The competition provides an excellent opportunity to educate students about the importance of the justice system. We sincerely hope you can assist in this very worthwhile effort. Participation is as rewarding for the Courtroom Monitors as it is for the students.
