Corissa graduated from Rhode Island College in 2008 with her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. In 2012, she obtained her paralegal certificate, with honors, from the University of San Diego. She is currently a Director of the San Diego Paralegal Association and acts as Editor-in-Chief of their newsletter, SDPA Precedent§. Corissa is also a Notary Public and a member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego.

Prior to joining GTA in April 2015, Corissa specialized in personal injury for insurance defense firm Taylor|Anderson, LLP. Before becoming a paralegal, she spent four years working as a legal assistant. Two years were spent at Quade & Associates, a PLC working in plaintiff’s civil litigation and two years were spent at the Law Office of Steven J. Hirsch working in family law and workers compensation.

Corissa prides herself on her strong work ethic and is dedicated to being the best Paralegal that she can be. She is a hardworking, team player and is committed to serving her firm’s clients to the fullest.

When Corissa is not at the office, she enjoys reading, hiking, playing at the dog park with her German shepherd, Hanna, and traveling with her husband, Josh.
