GenerateHope's vision is to see survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation recover from the abuse and trauma of the sex trade.  It is also our goal to educate our community and work with local law enforcement and task forces to eradicate trafficking in San Diego.

The Problem

• 3,417 - 8,108 estimated trafficking victims in San Diego alone, of whom 1,766 were contacted by law enforcement.
• $810 million in annual revenue estimated from the underground commercial sex economy in San Diego.
• San Diego is one of the Top 8 Cities in the US for commercial sexual exploitation, per the most recent FBI study.
