Currently, I am VP, Legal and Administrative Affairs at National Lending Associates, Inc., supporting areas of contract, corporate, securities and intellectual property law. My legal career began in the oil & gas industry in Canada; and subsequently transitioned to San Diego, where I have held positions at a environmental law firm, securities law firm, wireless/defense corporation and biopharmaceutical company. In 1991, I obtained a UCSD Legal Assistant Certificate (with honors) and continued my education with a UCSD Intellectual Property Certificate; NALA Certified Paralegal designation; NALA specialty Advanced Paralegal Certification in Business Organizations; and Notary license.
