Amy Shillingburg as past President of the San Diego County Court
Employees Association (SDCCEA), I worked vigorously on the many issues
that plague employees in our bargaining units. I have worked for San
Diego Superior Court since 1994 in various capacities. I currently hold
the position of Courtroom Clerk II for the Honorable Lisa Foster in the
Family Law Division of the San Diego Superior Court. During my tenure
with SDCCEA, I have served as an officer, advocate, employee
representative, coalition builder, lobbyist, director, and currently sit
as a board member. I have lobbied in Sacramento for over 8 years in
favor of legislation that supports the County’s dedicated public
servants and have fought legislation that would have negatively impacted
you. Through these endeavors, I have gained the knowledge, skills and
experience needed to be a strong voice of both County and Court
employees. My goal is to foster and promote relationships between the
Paralegal Community and the Court. Additionally, I will provide SPDA
members with current procedural changes within the Court that may affect
your daily job as a Paralegal. I will work diligently to be informed and
to fulfill my board member responsibilities. I embrace the opportunity
to serve you and respectfully request your vote. |
